“It may sound frightening, but the scientific evidence is that if we have not taken dramatic action within the next decade, we could face irreversible damage to the natural world and the collapse of our societies.”

Home: About Me

The coming years are likely to see dramatic climate shocks which could be around food supply, water shortages, energy supply issues and increased extreme weather events such as flooding and storms.

What organisations and communities do in the next 10 years will ultimately shape our climate resilience.

Your organisation has recognised the importance of tackling climate change and may even have declared a climate emergency.  The next step on the the carbon reduction journey is to get your house in order. That means creating credible decarbonisation plans to map out how your organisation can get to net zero. This will factor in how the power you get from the grid is decarbonising as carbon free energy from wind and solar is increased in the mix. Consideration on your approach to achieving carbon neutral or net-zero may involve an off set or carbon removal strategy.

At the local government level some progressive councils are exploring innovative decision making processes too ensure staff and communities are engaged - through citizen assemblies.

You might be a sustainability manager working for an NHS Trust, a climate emergency officer for a local authority or the head of a start-up and just want to brainstorm with one of our climate specialists on specific issues or  cover a range of areas book into a "carbon clinic" or even a half day site visit.

The Climate Resilience Company is here to support you.

It's time to ACT NOW.
